Born in July 2024 to mother Jona and father Tony, Moo Deng's expressive, chaotic energy—ranging from dramatic yawns to biting her zookeepers' knees during bath time—captured global hearts after her handlers posted candid clips on TikTok and Instagram.

Within weeks, the calf's image inspired artwork from major sports franchises, cosmetic lines replicating her flushed pink cheeks, and international broadcast coverage from Tokyo to New York.
The viral sensation has transformed daily operations at the zoo, located roughly 100 kilometers southeast of Bangkok. Zoo director Narongwit Chodchoi confirmed that visitor numbers have more than doubled to over 12,000 guests each weekend.
